Why work with Lantern Davis?
Deep industry sector experience. Practical results.
Nick Hudleston's bid packages have helped win multiple public sector national and regional framework contracts, for our arboricultural, landscaping and environmental contracting clients.
He knows the work from the ground up. His first site jobs in the 1980s included junior groundsman, sawyer's mate and Christmas tree nurseryman.
Nick has never forgotten what site work involves: highly challenging site conditions, tight programmes and busy directors.
He later trained under Paul Elcoat, one of the sector's best-known management consultants, and served as a director of Elcoat Ltd from 2011 to 2015.
What we are able to offer:
-
A wealth of management and business experience from across this industry, construction and others;
-
Bid writing that turns your actual working practices into clear, compliant answers tailored to your business;
-
Integrated management systems your crews can follow, with internal or external audits, without bureaucracy;
-
Mobilisation plans, KPI records and job evidence, so your clients are reassured in your contractual commitments;
-
Plain, well-organised process documentation for people who would rather be working than reading.
One larger award winning, environmental contractor said:
"Nick is very easy to work with, all our staff think so. He is always determined his work fits well across our business, and adds real value. It always has, sometimes in unexpected ways".
Our role is to help organise your business systems, records and evidence around the expert work you do. We always remain sensitive to your in-house specialists - we don't tell them how to do their jobs.
Nick's credentials:
-
BEng, Coventry Uni
-
PGDip Business Administration, Warwick Business School, Warwick Uni
-
PRINCE2 project management
-
Formal Product Management training (IPM)
-
Construction industry committee work, including published standards and peer-reviewed research.
